Strathallan Bed & Breakfast

Directions

GPS is a bit useless on Skye to if you use it to get you to the Skye Bridge or to Broadford if coming from the north of the island then follow these directions it will be a lot easier for your arrival.

Follow the A87 from the Skye Bridge towards Broadford about 7 miles until you come into the 40 mph, pass the first turn for Lower Breakish and continue on the A87 for about half a mile until you see the Red Skye Restaurant on your left, take the next turn for Lower breakish which is just ahead on your right.  Follow the road over the hill until you reach the t-junction, turn to the right and then immediate left heading down the hill towards the sea until you reach another T junction, take a right here and we are the 6th house on the right. You will see our B & B sign in the garden. Please turn into the drive and park in one of the guest spaces provided.

Coming from Broadford, follow the A87 south out of Broadford heading towards the Skye Bridge, pass through Scullamus and just after the narrow bridge take the turn for Lower Breakish on your left, about 3/4 of a mile along the road there is a small left turn, take this turn and head down the hill towards the sea until you get to the T junction, take a right, we are the 6th house on the right. You will see our B & B sign in the garden.  Please turn into the drive and park in one of the guest spaces provided.

Please be aware that if using your sat nav to get you here it may bring you via the Mallaig - Armadale ferry. If you choose this route please check ferry times as out of season there are fewer ferries daily. Please check the link for Summer Timetable.  www.calmac.co.uk

If looking for a traditional "over the sea to Skye" route you may want to consider the Glenelg - Kylerhea ferry have a look at the website for more information.  www.skyeferry.co.uk

As we are situated in a semi-rural location and Skye public transport is limited it is recommended that you have the use of a car.
